Which ones better?
My Opinion: The one on the left looks like a mean M F'er ready to lay down the law. The one on the right looks like something you would get in a fast food happy meal. They're just trying too hard, and failing.

My Opinion: The one on the left looks like a mean M F'er ready to lay down the law. The one on the right looks like something you would get in a fast food happy meal. They're just trying too hard, and failing.

Yeah, they certainly departed from the feel of the original. In many cases, like cars, this is a good thing. In this case, they clearly suck.
It looks a lot less like a robot and more like a psychotic mechanical sloth from hell.
